Rye Hill Church Family,
What a wonderful Sunday we had in the Lord yesterday. God blessed us with 273 in Sunday School, which is our highest since COVID-19, and 380 in worship. The time of praise and worship was outstanding, and Betty F. did an awesome job reminding us through song how great heaven is going to be. We also had several guests with us! Hallelujah!
Our Body Life meeting went well. Our finances are doing well, and our Long Range Planning Committee report was wonderful; new website information and a desk for our Welcome Center was approved and will be paid for out of our Long Range Planning fund. Paul Walker hit a homerun with his bible study on persecution. It is very exciting to see what God is doing at Rye Hill Baptist Church! Our future truly looks bright, and to God be the glory.
Please pray, pray, pray for Vacation Bible School this week. VBS is for children 4 years old through 6th grade. It begins with a meal for the children at 5:30 PM. VBS will run Monday through Friday from 6 PM-8:15 PM. This week is one of the highlights of our Children’s Ministry. Please also pray for our VBS workers and that children will be saved this week.
Men, don’t forget our newly formed Men’s Bible Study on Wednesday mornings at 6:30 AM. They are studying the book of Romans taught by Don C. and David D. They had 8 present in their first class time, so come join them for a great time of Bible study and fellowship.
We will have our regular Adult Bible Study and Prayer Meeting this Wednesday night at 6:30 PM. I will be speaking on the subject of “True Healing” from 2 Kings 20:1-11. Come join us for this mid-week spiritual boost, Bible study, and prayer over our detailed Prayer List.
We are supporting the “Heart to Heart Pregnancy and Family Care Center” with a fill the “Baby Bottle Campaign” from July 11th to August 8th. You can fill it with change, bills, or a check with whatever God leads you to do. This non-profit faith-based and pro-life ministry is dedicated to helping young girls, women, men, and families who are facing an unplanned pregnancy. Let’s all pick-up a baby bottle and fill it up for a great Christian cause here in the River Valley. We truly want to be a community-minded church, and this is a great way to show support and love to those in need.
Mark down Sunday Night, August 22nd, for our first Gospel Concert since COVID-19.There will be three different quartets singing that night starting at 6 PM. You don’t want to miss this exciting Gospel Concert at our church. Let’s fill the building for a wonderful night of praise and worship.
We hope you have a super week with cooler weather and some forecasted rain. Thank you SO much for your strong prayer and support for all of our ministries. May God bless each and every one of you.
