Frankly Speaking

This time of year you have no idea what kind of weather it is going to be like in Arkansas. One day it is 70 degrees and three days later the high is 29 degrees. Since I’ve turned 60 this past year, one thing is true for me, I hate to be cold and really enjoy the hot weather. Jesus said this to the church in Laodicea in Revelation 3:15, “I know your works, that you are neither hot nor cold. I wish you were hot or cold.” The same can be said about our spiritual lives. God does not want us to be lukewarm or cold about our relationship with Him. My prayer is that we, as Christians, will always be hot and “on fire” for the Lord and His work. May it be so, Amen!

In Christ,
Michael Franklin
