Missions

“Kids Beach Club”  meets each week on Tuesday at Orr Elementary and is going great. There are 19 students signed up. All of them were present in the last session before the Christmas break. We began the spring semester on January 15th with a total of 11 sessions. I am so thankful for Rye Hill Church’s support plus the 15 folks who are faithfully serving by teaching these kids about Our Lord!

We have started another session of “Share Jesus without Fear.” Those participating will become better equipped to be “Fearless in Faith”.

There will be another opportunity to be a part of the Journey to Fort Worth to participate in what God is doing there. The dates are set for June 9th thru 15th, 2019. Add this date on your calendars and be watching for an informational meeting.

There is an event coming up April 6th at the State Association building in Little Rock. “The Art of Storytelling” is a day of learning how to tell Bible stories, all from memory, in order to engage with others in sharing the Gospel. This method is especially useful among cultures who are audio learners. Go to the asbc.org website to sign up. Seating is limited.

Now when we have warmer days, keep in mind the need to visit in our “Jerusalem” in order to achieve “Every Home Reached”.

In Christ,
Brother Scott
