Brother Chris Trager is leading “Share Jesus without Fear” on Sunday evenings
The Mission Continues
Brother Chris Trager is leading “Share Jesus without Fear” on Sunday evenings. This study is equipping those participating to be more prepared to go and tell.
We are continuing to “Go without Fear, Every Home Reached,” as we go and tell to those in the area around the Church. Daylight is gaining and this will give us more opportunity to minister. We will have another informational meeting, sharing how you can participate this month, please watch for the date. These folks are our Jerusalem (Acts 1:8).
Conversation Club, a ministry to International students attending UFAS, takes place on Thursdays at 6:30 p.m. at the BCM building at UAFS. This is a great opportunity to go and tell by ministering to people from all over the world. These meetings will continue on Thursday nights through April. On April 26th Rye Hill will provide a meal for this group. A week prior a sign-up sheet will be available in the church lobby for those that would like to bring food or help serve.
The “Community Focus Outreach” was a success. We should always remember this outreach mattered to those who came. I want to thank all who gave, served, and prayed for those that were reached that day. Cindy and I personally visited one who came that said “before I left that day I knew this would be my Church! It was obvious the Love of Christ was here and I plan to attend in the near future but due to health and family I can’t right now”.
We have finalized the dates for our continued “Journey to the Fountains” in Fort Worth. June 3rd-8th are the dates we will GO and TELL. We will have another informational meeting in May.
I got to witness our youth doing mission work right here in Fort Smith during spring break. They did some prep work for the incoming World Changers Group who will do home repairs to a couple homes by clearing brush out of the way to give better access.
In Christ, Brother Scott
