From Our Missions Leader
First, I humbly want to thank the Church for the encouragement of putting me on as paid staff. We are continually overwhelmed by the generosity of you all in your support of my family. I truly don’t have the ability to convey what it means to us.
Wow! What a month of seeing God change lives. When we lift up the name of Jesus He draws people unto Himself. A lot of interaction has taken place with the International Students at UAFS. We have discovered some of them already know Jesus as Lord and Savior. Another thing we have discovered – they like to eat just as much as we do. Thank you for helping feed them on the 28th.
We will give yet another opportunity to become better equipped to Share Jesus. Starting Sunday night 10/1 at 6:00 pm in the reception room we will take 5 to 6 weeks and go through “Share Jesus without Fear”. We will also kick off “Go without Fear, Every Home Reached”, as we engage those right around the Church.
This month on October 7th Acts 1-8; a one-day mission opportunity will take place in North Pulaski County. The information I have says over 2,000 folks from all over Arkansas will invade that area proclaiming Christ.
Coming November 20th -22nd we will go back to the Fountains to continue the Journey there. We will help South Cliff Baptist serve a Thanksgiving meal to around 300 folks who attend ESL training weekly. Please prayerfully consider being a part of this opportunity.
Also, be watching the bulletin and the mission moments for other opportunities to serve our Lord and Savior.
In Christ, Brother Scott
